I’m Going Places

I’M GOING PLACES

Psalm 24

1 The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,

    the world, and all who live in it;

2 for he founded it on the seas

    and established it on the waters.

3 Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?

    Who may stand in his holy place?

4 The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,

    who does not trust in an idol

    or swear by a false god.[a]

5 They will receive blessing from the Lord

    and vindication from God their Savior.

6 Such is the generation of those who seek him,

    who seek your face, God of Jacob.[b][c]

7 Lift up your heads, you gates;

    be lifted up, you ancient doors,

    that the King of glory may come in.

8 Who is this King of glory?

    The Lord strong and mighty,

    the Lord mighty in battle.

9 Lift up your heads, you gates;

    lift them up, you ancient doors,

    that the King of glory may come in.

10 Who is he, this King of glory?

    The Lord Almighty—

    he is the King of glory.

There is POWER in your purpose and that power is owned and honored when you can tell yourself and others that, no matter what it is that you are doing, going through, thinking about NOW, you have a version of the vision that you are moving toward, ahead.

I watched a young artist do a LIVE video last week and they talked about how they were not where they wanted to be RIGHT NOW, but they declared “BUT I’M GOING PLACES!”  That thing shook right through because in the end, it is what you think about your future and how prepared you are for it that can really shape the choices you make and the chances you take with your greatness and your ascension to it.

ARE YOU READY TO GO PLACES?

Talk about David and Psalm 22 and his breakdown and then his breakthrough and then expand into Psalm 23 and his breakout.

Then, after that WHAT IS PSALM 24? This is David’s BREAKNECK…where he puts his life lessons and possible blessings into fast gear because he is simply READY TO GO!

ARE YOU READY TO GO PLACES?

Proper provisions before you get on the road

Don’t get drunk by road hypnosis

Don’t pick up hitchhikers (that’s not the same as acts of kindness)

Imagine what you might need when you get there…but leave room for MORE!

Be prepared, in the silence of the journey, to encourage yourself.  Be your own best company.
